Welcome to March’s Edition of Our Newsletter

It’s been another busy and joyful month here at Ardnahein! March was full of celebrations, laughter, and plenty of memorable moments.

We had the pleasure of celebrating the birthdays of Amy, Gladys, Dougie, and Margaret – a wonderful time filled with cake, smiles, and good company.

We also marked Mother’s Day, making it a special occasion for everyone, and enjoyed a fantastic St. Patrick’s Day pub crawl activity, which brought great fun and a lively atmosphere to the home.

With the return of the sunny weather, residents made the most of it by spending time out in the garden, soaking up the fresh air and spring sunshine.

A highlight for many was the return of Duncan and his rickshaw bike, giving residents the chance to enjoy relaxing and scenic rides once again.

All in all, it’s been a fantastic month, and we’re looking forward to even more fun in April!

There were lots of lovely memories shared, great conversations, and a few surprised faces as we zoomed in on old neighbourhoods. A wonderful trip down memory lane without even leaving our seats

We are so proud to see Ardnahein Care Home featured in the Dunoon Observer this week after our residents Kath (104!) and Hugh (84) took to the ice at the Waterfront Leisure Complex.

Inspired by watching the Winter Olympics, they decided they wanted to try it for themselves, proving that age really is just a number. Wrapped up warm, our team supported them as they glided onto the ice for an unforgettable day filled with laughter, smiles, and a little bit of adventure.

At Ardnahein, we believe life doesn’t stop when you move into a care home. We are passionate about creating meaningful experiences, supporting dreams, and sometimes even ticking things off the bucket list.
